As a consultee, the Town Council's Planning Committee make considerations for all planning applications in and around South Woodham Ferrers which have been submitted to Chelmsford City Council, the principal planning authority. Agreed comments are then submitted to Chelmsford City Council. Members of the public are welcome to attend Planning Committee meetings and address the Committee on any item on the Agenda.

17/05213/TPO 9 Quarter Gate - T1 & T2 Robinia crown reduce both trees by 2-2.5m, crown lift to 3m and remove deadwood. Reason: routine maintenance to ensure the trees do not become too large for their location and to prevent the trees from touching the property buildings
