Grants and Loans

Does your organisation need financial help with a project? The Town Council operate a scheme for making grants and loans to local organisations which is administered by the Town Council's Policy & Resources Committee. Provided that the application is received at least fifteen working days beforehand it will be considered at the next meeting of the Committee. Applications for £200 or less can be agreed between meetings. Please see scheduled meetings for the date of the next meeting. Applicants should note that there are certain legal restrictions on whom the Town Council can make grants to and details can be seen in the guidelines. There are many other organisations which provide financial assistance and the Funding Portal for Essex at www.info/essex/ has links to many of these both locally and nationally which you may wish to apply to.
