Champions Manor Hall

Champions Manor Hall Community Centre is owned and managed by South Woodham Ferrers Town Council. The Centre consists of two halls and two committee rooms all of which are available for hire. The Town Council's office is located at the Hall on the first floor and is open Monday to Friday 9.00 to 16.00. Town Council's meetings are also held here.

The accommodation available is suitable for celebrations and parties, wedding receptions and is home to the following regular activities: Grosvenor School of Performing Arts, DDMIX exercise, Zanshin Karate, Zumba for Seniors, Pilates, SWF and Crouch Valley U3A, SWF Toddler Club, SWF Table Tennis Club, Mediums Evenings, Sparks Cheerleaders, Taoist Tai Chi, Slimming World sessions, Lyn's exercise classes, McAllister KickBoxing, plus conference and training events etc.

Free Wi-Fi is available. However, it is password protected and this is available on request.

Main Hall

Situated on the ground floor with access at the rear to toilets, disabled toilet, changing room and rear storage facility. Access to the kitchen via the foyer. Fully air conditioned. AV equipment providing a remote controlled projector, (with a DVD or laptop connection) drop down screen and audio equipment with Bluetooth link for connecting to a smart phone are available.

Size: 140 sqm (8.4m x 16.67m)

Multi-Purpose Room

Situated on the ground floor. Access to the kitchen via the foyer and hatch. Access to the rear storage facility. Fully air conditioned. AV equipment providing a remote controlled projector, drop down screen and audio equipment (Laptop connection) , with Bluetooth link for connecting to a smart phone are available.

Size: 105 sqm (8.4m x 12.50m)

Conference Room

Situated on the first floor. Tables and chairs for twenty four people. Fully air conditioned. Lift and toilets available. AV equipment providing a 75 inch Smart TV in 4K, and remote controlled projector, drop down screen and audio equipment, ideal for conference and training bookings.

Meeting Room

Situated on the first floor. Tables and chairs for twenty people. Fully air conditioned. Lift and toilets available. AV equipment by way of a 55inch Dell flat screen monitor.

Kitchen

Situated on the ground floor. This is a shared facility between the hirers of the Main Hall and Multi-Purpose Room. There is a hatch into the Multi-Purpose Room and another into the foyer both with roller shutters. There is an electric oven and ceramic hob, water boiler, microwave, fridge-freezer, two sinks and draining boards and ample worktop space. Hot water urns, water and milk jugs, cups, spoons and glasses are provided on the first floor for meeting and conference room use.

Toilet Facilities

There are ample toilet facilities with easy access from the Main Hall, Multi Purpose Room and first floor Conference and Meeting Rooms. Baby changing facilities are provided on the ground floor.

Facilities for the disabled

There is a lift to the first floor. There are disabled toilet facilities at the rear of the building and in the passageway in front of the Multi Purpose Room adjacent to the changing facilities. There are two disabled parking spaces in the Community Centre's car park.

Changing facilities

There are male and female changing rooms in front of the Multi Purpose Room.

Car Park

Please note that the car park at Champions Manor Hall is for use by hirers using the Hall/room facilities and Bowling Green only. The site gates will be locked when the building is not in use.

Only Guide Dogs are permitted into Champions Manor Hall Community Centre.
