We also fund several Play in the Park activity sessions each year.

Maldon District & Essex County Councils

We contribute to consultations from Maldon District Council and work regularly with Essex County Council on highways matters, road closures, street furniture, and permissions for Christmas lights and hanging baskets.

Highways issues are reported throughout the year.

Station Adopters: Work by the Station adopters is often supported with grants but also manual work aid such as tree planting.

Charities & Voluntary Groups

We support local charities through free event stalls, grant schemes, promotion on our website and social media, and by organising the annual Remembrance Service and Parade.

The Finlay James Fund also works closely with us to provide baby loss Christmas Trees at the Garden of remembrance.

Essex Police

We host regular “Let’s Talk” sessions, invite officers to the Annual Town Meeting, and welcome police participation at major town events and Remembrance Sunday.

Several police initiatives are also shared on social media and on our website.

Local Businesses

We encourage town centre regeneration and hold our annual Christmas event in the Town Centre to help increase footfall and support local traders.

Environmental Partnerships

We work with groups such as Natural England, the Woodland Trust, Bird Aware and Essex Wildlife Trust on environmental and conservation projects.
