D Day 80th commemoration events

South Woodham Ferrers Town Council held two D Day 80th commemoration events during early June 2024.

Our mayor was delighted to invite guests, including the HM Lord Lieutenant of Essex, and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Chelmsford City Council. It was both a chance to remember and to celebrate.

His deputy from the Town Council Cllr Toni Perham Lake also attended.
