High Sheriff of Essex, Julie Fosh, with our Town Mayor Cllr Alan Shearring

Our Mayor was delighted to introduce our newest and youngest (18) Councillor Mia Barrett to the High Sheriff of Essex, Julie Fosh. Both talked about the importance of encouraging a wide range of residents into volunteering and local government.

Our Mayor chaired this years event and started by thanking all those who came along to the events and also spoke on the importance of our volunteers in our community. 

Our Mayor helped raise £525.00 for the RNLI
