We have recently been carrying out patrols in the South Woodham Ferrers area following reports of anti‑social behaviour and drug use. Officers have been conducting high‑visibility patrols, focusing on locations where drug use has been reported.

We have also received reports of illegal e‑scooters and e‑bikes being used within local recreation grounds. These vehicles pose a risk to children and other pedestrians. We would like to remind residents that privately owned e‑scooters and e‑bikes that do not meet legal requirements are illegal to use in public places, including parks and recreation grounds, and will be seized if identified. Patrols in the area will continue.
