Advance notice of A130 Weekend Closures

To undertake these works safely, sections of the A130 will need to be fully closed in one direction over two weekends:

• A130 Southbound

8.00 pm Friday 6 November to 6.00 am Monday 9 November

The A130 will be closed southbound from Howe Green interchange and Rayleigh Spur. The northbound carriageway will remain open.

• A130 Northbound

8.00 pm Friday 13 November to 6.00 am Monday 16 November

The A130 will be closed northbound from Rayleigh Spur to Howe Green interchange. The southbound carriageway will remain open.

Please note that these works are weather dependent. Conditions will be assessed by CountyRoute closer to the planned dates and, if the works cannot proceed safely or effectively due to the weather, the programme may be postponed or amended.

A signed diversion route will be in place via the A12 and A127 at Gallows Corner, however please be aware that some road users may choose local alternative routes which may increase traffic on surrounding roads. We encourage all drivers to observe signage and allow extra time when travelling in the area.
